Water Purifier AMC & Maintenance Service

We bought a water purifier from Eureka Forbes (Aquaguard Total Reviva RO). After the first year of usage, we called aquaguard service centre and requested for our first AMC. The guy came from aquaguard and replaced all the filters in the unit. The second year the same guy who had come the last year from aquaguard called us personally and said he was offering water filter service privately as he said he had come out of aquaguard and asked us if we would accept his offer stating the service in aquaguard was not upto the mark and that he would be available anytime to resolve the issues that usually arise from any water filter. Since our first request for an AMC was not addressed on time, we decided that we would go with this guy for our annual water purifier AMC and other maintenance services. For the next two years we did not face any issues with the unit. The last year that is in 2014, during the consecutive maintenance services, the guy said he had to replace one or two of the filters as the water quality had gone bad in the Chennai city due to the monsoonal rains and charged us around 500 to 600 each for the replaced filters apart from an AMC of Rs. 3800 per year. That year he actually charged us
Rs.550 in the first service (1 filter)
Rs.600 in the second (2 filters) and
Rs.700 for an extra outer filter.
Now,what my doubt is whether this guy is doing what it normally takes to maintain and service an RO purifier or is he making us pay more for sub-standard filters. He is using Hi-Tech filters and we do not know what filters are being used in Aquaguard water purifiers.
Is this happening to any of you in this forum?
Should we get back to Aquaguard water purifier service centre?
Is Aquaguard offering customer satisfying services without delay?
