Approx 15 years ago i have been issued one credit card from Burclays Bank. out of two transaction one of Rs.2000/- was frauded and accordingly correspondence was made and matter was provably closed since no further information was received from Bank concern. Now after 15 years some representatives of Kotac Mahindra Bank are pressing hard for payment of Rs.15,000/- by referring the old out standing stated that their bank have taken over the Burclays Bank and accordingly outstanding amount should be cleared. Pls help me what can I do , however, no civil score is involved in this regard as I have taken house building loan, four wheeler loan, credit card and number of small loan for purchase house hold.
