NON REFUND OF CANCELLED TICKET

Dear Sir,

I am sorry to say that even after lapse of more than two months, still waiting for response to my trail mail of 16.05.2013. It is again requested that the matter may please looked in detail and permissible, refund as per the Railway Rules, be refunded immediately. If the issue is required further escalation, pls let me know so that it can be raised to the appropriate authority.

If no response is received to my communication within 15 days of the mail, I will be forced to approach to the District Consumer Forum, for not refunding the legitimate claim and Railways will be held solely responsible for that.

With reference to your trail mail dated 16.05.2013, it is advised that I had booked two tickets for the journey from Mumbai to Jaipur, the details of which are as under:

13.04.2013 8610676769 Mumbai (BCT) Jaipur(Jp) Not travelled


I started my returning journey from Jaipur to Mumbai on 19.04.2013, with the ticket having PNR No. 2506878441. I did not travelled with the booked ticket having PNR 8610676769, dated 13.04.2013. It is therefore, the matter may please be get re-examined and the admissible refund against the PNR 8610676769 for the journey of 13.04.2013, should paid. If the matter is required for further escalation, please let me know so that the issue can be taken up suitably with the appropriate authorities.

There are millions who suffer from same fate as yours as Railways stash their money in pocket illegally. Few have time to go to consumer court. See this example of Railways error.
