Irctc didn't inform through mail or message about the non availability of train

We were about to board the train Jalianwalabag express to Kolkata from Amritsar JN on 29th July 2018 on 10.55am. Me, my mother and my sister went there on time when the station enquiry officer told us that the train doesn't come to Amritsar JN. But we received no emails or message regarding it. We were harassed and we had to take the flight to Kolkata tickets worth Rs29000. We belong to middle class family and we booked the train tickets long before. Still neither we were informed about the non availability of the train nor we were given any compensation. So, I want our flight fare back. Please take necessary action
