Idea FRC 1298 benefits not applicable as stated on Idea Website

Hi,
I am Kailas Dingankar and my number is 9422488336. I have just ported in Idea and my sim got activated on 5.2.14 at 11 pm.

I saw the Idea(Maharashtra) smart phone 3G first recharge of rupees 1298 and i decided to do it as it was having nice scheme.

But after doing recharge of FRC 1298 i was not provided with the benefits and internet charge is cutting from my main balance.

After calling 198 they told me that they had mention scheme details where only for IDEA SMART PHONE AND NOT FOR ANY OTHER BRAND SMART PHONE.

But in the mail from IDea there is not mention anywhere that it was not for OTHER BRAND SMART PHONES.

Even while doing the recharge at Idea Gallery(Virar) they did not told me that it is only for IDEA SMART PHONE and NOT OTHER BRAND SMART PHONE.
They assume that it is for all Smart Phone and my money is wasted now.

So now what about the 1298 recharge done by me.

I need it refund or they should provide scheme they mention.

You should register a formal complaint by following these telecom complaints procedure steps.

Yes it will be a hassle to claim it but some have been able to get refunds from such schemes.
