A person Named Wasim an individual dealor of bikes has cheated me.He has taken 54000 from me on 23rd July 2014 and promised me a new Honda activa but till today not given me bike or my money.I have filed a NC against him but the police says I need to go to consumer court.Basically he was a known friend so dont have any paperwork that I have booked a bike but I had given a cheque and it shows it is clear in favour of Ideal Motors and the bike is given to another person.Wasim is sayin he too has been cheated and all bull shit stories. I need my money.please help..

No .. police can file fraud case. Is Named Wasim a registered company or shop? Did you try to buy anything from him? If he is simple dealer then you can't go to consumer court.
In any case police can register cheating cases against him. Otherwise he will defraud another person.
If police does not register, then meet senior police officials. You can take a lawyer and get FIR registered from court decree.
