For visiting pilgrimage site in Nashik - Trimbakeshwar. I along with my family members had on-boarding in Hotel O Sai Lodge in Nashik. On reaching things were very nicely done.
We were sold another service of their i.e visiting 12 site for transportation help. Again it was nicely. Since they were locals here would help and we considered their generosity.
What was told to us that by 8:00 pm all the visit would happen correctly. But it did not.
We left at 12: 15 pm to Trimbakeshwar. Had food in between. Reached Trimbakeshwar around 2:20 pm. But it crowded because of festive season on 27 Dec 2025. Now we left at 8:15 pm from Trimbakeshwar to Hotel. On the route we asked the driver about the other site visit he said now everything is closed. Later on reaching near the Hotel, we asked driver let us talk to person to whom initially we paid Rs 1000 as a token amount. But the driver insisted that he needs Rs 2100 as Rs 3200 was discussed for this trip and Rs 100 he took for parking charges were initially we were told that Rs 3200 everything is inclusive including toll charges, and any clearance needed thereby.
The driver called a person (unknown for us while writing this complain), we conveyed to him that only one site visit has happened just reduce the price. Just few minutes later the person who was initially tried to sell us the transportation service came to us and said no no it will be Rs 1900 and arrogantly. While writing I have asked him for bill and raising the complain in consumer forum very nicely.
Point to note
1) They tried to sell transportation services by fooling the consumer.
2) Their arrogant behaviour of discussion.
3) Just for travelling 45 kilometer one way from Nashik Railway to Trimbakeshwar and returning back, how can someone charge Rs 3200 for 90 KM. Even metro cities are not that costly.
Demand for complete compensation
1) Complete compensation for transportation service of Rs 3200.
2) To make state wide audit on all hotels and lodge on their complimentary service or only in Nashik.
3) To provide the bill for transportation service alteast electronic bill.
