My Order# 171-4172477-9661130 placed on Amazon on 9th October - the item was to be delivered on 12th Oct as per SMS - saying an OTP would be sent for giving to courier. Today 13th Oct, I get message saying order is cancelled due (no clear reason given) and my Money is being REFUNDED. The REFUND AMOUNT IS RS. 1000/- less than that collected from my credit card. On contacting support, I am told the money is in my Amazon Pay account and can be used to buy stuff.
While I do not get the item delivered, Amazon has without my permission collected Rs.1000/- into their account and forcing me to spend on future purchase !!
Looks like Amazon India has started UNETHICAL practices to collect money from unsuspecting customers !!
