We purchased an WeP Peripherals Limited 5KVA Online UPS an year back with a warranty of 24months. WeP Peripherals Limited promised us to replace the system if it is found to be faulty which is their in the agreement. The UPS is online and invariably from January 2012 the UPS is not found to be working fine, now when we took this issue to the higher officials of the company the service if more pathetic. following is their commitment
January 2012 - changed one faulty battery where as, the report by the service engineer says because of the UPS there are more faulty batteries, so we have to change the entire battery set
Feburary 2012 - one more battery was not working and the operation came to stand still due online UPS, again after much of follow up they changed one battery which was faulty, which was not the permanent solution according to their service engineer.
like the above till September 2012 every month each one battery was changed without finding a permanent solution. WeP UPS company took the UPS by the month of September to recharge all batteries and found 12 out of 15 batteries are not working and will replace the whole thing. This is what the service engineer of their company said in his service report in the month of January. It took the company 12 months to realize this. Imagine how they have taken a customer's business for granted.
Now after 15 days since the break down WeP Peripherals Limited is giving each day a reason to try and avoid replacement within the contract period. One person called Mr.Ciju in WeP Bangalore came in line to talk to us to sort this...when he found he was not able to replace it, he threw the ball in Mr.Prafful Agarwal court, who sits in their factory in Baddi. He tried talking to us to give another AMC for their UPS for them to replace the batteries. when we said first you address the current issue before we take up the other issue..he said he is not the person to decide and he put us across to one Mr.Rajesh.
Beleive me, one of the worst customer service companies you can ever imagine.. i tried to collect their customer list in Coimbatore, where our operations are held due to their UPS and found few of the customers like a leading college is not happy about their UPS and the complaints registered in the month of march is not closed.
I sincerely advise the UPS Purchasers, who are searching online to find a supplier to keep away from WeP UPS company. Stay away with WeP Peripherals Limited. I am planning to take up this case with their Managing Director to see how the response is going to be..will keep the form posted about the response.
