I Contacted Visas and Permits- immigration consultancy in February'16 to check for my eligibility to migrate to Singapore for career perspective.
Mr. Jatin Virmani took up my case, explained in detail about the complete process & suggested and recommended Canada PR for my profile. One of my friend who had been to Australia, worked there for 3 years returned recently & started his own firm suggested me to take the IELTS before applying for VISA & I told my opinion to V&P consultant, but Jatin somehow convinced that IELTS will be very easy & can score desired band. Same day they made me to sign the contract & to pay 50% processing fees of Rs. 83,562.00 (Actually I visited V&P just for consultation & I didn't carry cheque book) I said, I will come back later with necessary document & cheque book but they are very smart & helped me to make online payment through net banking.
Later, its my responsibility to submit the required documents to start my application process, I had to visit university & got WES certificate for my educational validation & took IELTS twice in two month gap & got band 6 both the times even putting 100% effort & time (being a family man & working professional its very difficult) not eligible for CANADA PR visa. Jatin kept convincing me to take up IELTS again to score the desired band.
Thee months because of IELTS test pressure, I could not give quality time for my family & did some online research on life of immigrants in Canada is nightmare. People who moved to Canada has to suffer a lot to settle in Canada & have to work in low profile jobs for first few years as labors. Many experienced people suggested me not ruin my happy family life chasing my dream of moving to foreign country.
Currently I have a decent salary job & leading a better life decided to withdraw my application. Informed Jatin that am no more interested in proceeding with PR Visa please cancel my application process & refund the money holding applicable cancellation fees. In-fact actual process will start only after submit IELTS band.
V&P denied to refund processing fees paid instead suggesting to take IELTS again & also said many of his clients have taken IELTS more than 6-7 times & many are still taking. I don't know whether its true or not.
If they cannot refund I requested to process my application for other countries they deal & am eligible to apply. But there is no response.
Agreement is drafted in a such a way that if customer wish to withdraw or cancel the application at the initial stage itself for some personal valid reasons, as per the clause no refund will be made.
I do not want to give up the hard earned money to V&P for no effort from them. They did nothing till now.
Please advice.
