Poor grievance handling by Nodal Officer

This is with reference to my tata sky helpline complaint no 1-31103428742 and telecom with Mr Velu at your Bangalore nodal office regarding refund of Rs 1800.

Last year when I switched to tata sky HD connection for my primary connection ( digicomp no 742315027497 and inserted digicard no 000082427634 , on the box digicard no is written 000134445469) , I kept my non HD box on advice of your installer to use it for secondary connection if needed in future. I did not request for termination of my non HD box nor I received any information by your installer or in form of any mailer or phone call that if the box is not used for long time it will automatically be terminated. Since I had a spare box with me , I bought a new television set this year June and requested for installation of my secondary connection. Your executive Mr subhash (mobile no 9060181891) from 'yes Kay digital links' came on June 30 to do the installation. After checking my non HD box he said that my old box has been terminated and also tata sky has changed its technology , my box is unusable and I need to buy new set top box for my secondary connection. Left with no other option to use my newly bought TV , I had to buy a new set top HD box (digicomp no -844102735215 and digicard no 000199674862) by paying Rs1800 ( receipt no 1366). I was still not convinced with his answer so he assured me that if I can get my old box activated , he would return my money and take back the sold set top box.

After lot of complaints and follow ups with your various helpline associates at various centers for a month (every time I was given a new reference number 31500335cj, 1-30391085222, 1-30391085222,1-30548102307) I got my old non HD box activated , which was later exchanged free of charge ( digicomp no 134106315879 and digicard no 000134445469) because of technology up-gradation.

Since I did not need the new HD box which was sold to me for my secondary connection I called the installer Mr subhash from Yes Kay digital links to return my money and take back the box . he said he won't be able to do so and I need to follow up with helpline and register my complaint, which I did . I am highly disappointed with the tata sky for dealing with an old customer so unprofessionally and not resolving my problem even after following up for more than a month. Now my request to you is to look in to the matter and refund my Rs 1800 in to my account at the earliest and take back the set top box which was unnecessary sold to me by giving false information.
