We would like to redress our grievance as follows:
We were holding Current Account no. 621011010147 in the name of Soumya Eco Polymers Pvt. Ltd. However the company had to stop its business operations as it was suffering losses.
We would like to bring to your kind notice that Kotak Bank had levied exorbitant AQB non maintenance charges to the extent of Rs. 76,710/- (Rupees Seventy Six Thousand Seven Hundred and Ten Only) during the period from 01-04-2015 to 30-06-2017 and 01-04-2017 to 23-08-2018. We had submitted letter dated 01-07-2015 for reduction in AQB. Thereafter we had even sent letter dated 14-08-2017 for reversal of charges levied to our account apart from visiting the branch on several occasions to follow up on this issue and settle the same. But all our requests and pleas fell on deaf ears. These letters remain unanswered till date neither the charges have been reversed. We are also attaching herewith copies of bank statement for your reference and records.
We had even raised our concern via Personal Banking Grievance Redressal Level 1 Form. We received reply requesting for certain details. But the reply was received via donot reply email id and hence we were unable to understand how do we provide the requisite details. Hence we are writing this email to you with great hopes.
As a final resort, we seek your kind intervention in this matter. As already informed, the company had incurred losses and is already under process of winding up. The same was already conveyed to your branch during follow ups. However all our efforts went in vain and the amount which was wrongly debited to our account was never reversed. The amount which has been levied is quite huge and refund of the same would really prove helpful.
Hence we request you to consider our case and provide refund of the charges levied on this account and oblige.
