My parents went to Lala Jugal Kishor (Jewellers) and did some Rs. 3Lakhs worth of shopping for my younger brothers marriage.
Lala Jugal Kishor (Jewellers) took advantage of my parent's innocence and cheated them for almost Rs. 50,000/- and below are details.
1.) My parents ordered for jewellery of 22K Gold but was delivered 18K Gold jewellery, which we got tested at Reliance Jewels and discovered about this fraud.
2.) After knowing this we went back to shop and he at once accepted the fact that he delivered 18K in place of 22K and was ready to reduce the amount, on this we also agreed but he reduced on Rs. 200/- per GRAM where as the price diff on that day (25th Feb 2014) between 22K and 18K was Rs. 500/- approx per GRAM.
3.) The necklace had lots of cheap stones like American Diamond (approx 2-3 Grams) which should not be charged as per gold rate (I bought the same king of jewellery from Reliance Jewels and they gave a very details bill and took diff-diff changes as per the stone/metal/gold), but Lala Jugal Kishor (Jewellers) charged every thing as if it is gold.
4.) One of my close relative bought one bangle and by chance it broke due to some reason, to my surprise we found many small-small iron balls inside it, which mean he has sold even those iron balls as per gold rate.
5.) Lala Jugal Kishor (Jewellers) is not giving any solid bill (they give just hand written bills) and neither they give any kind of certificate for gold they sell.
6.) When asked on to how they check if the Gold is 18/22/24K, they told that they don't have any machine for checking gold, and they check only as per their experience, which i know is a total lie.
Can i know whats the process to log a complaint or this post is enought.
