Airtel Broadband No Connection No reimbursement

Hi,

Since I am moving out of town, I wanted my Airtel Broadband connection request to be cancelled. I've made repeated calls to Airtel customer care since 2 weeks back for cancellation and also to Airtel vendor. I've been told the amount will be returned. After 10 days I understand that the processing is still not done.

Today when I called up Airtel customer care I am told I've to send an email to 121@in.airtel.com on this and it will take 21 working days again to get my refund. This delay is not acceptable considering I made a cash payment for a connection on 21st September 2013 and I've got no connection till now.

I feel I am being cheated and I think I should be going to consumer court on this.

The vendor had taken 1349 Rs from me for this connection.
