Status shows that "passport application has been submitted with supporting documents

My police verification and all formalities for passport were done on Feb 2013, and i still did not receive my passport. the status shows that "passport application has been submitted with supporting documents". i need my passport urgently.

Any help or suggestion will be highly appreciated.

What does Passport office guys say? Now a days Passport service is managed by Tatas. Much less of bureaucracy now.

Ultimately you can write a simple RTI application to know the status. Nobody will mind it.
