My wife is holding a valid passport since May 2000 from RPO chandigarh and it was renewed 2 times (for correction/addition of details once change of mothers name and then addition of spouse name).
My wife has applied for issuance of PCC from passport office chandigarh on 08.08.2014 while issuing PCC they found that already a passport was applied with my wife's name in 2004 from Jalandhar RPO where wrong address of jalandhar is mentioned, her changed Date of Birth and place of birth, other details remained the same
The PCC issuing officer has holded the PCC and asked for explanation from the RPO jalandhar regarding the same. This passport has never been issued and file was closed sighting adverse police report you are requested to guide us in this regard
She has no knowledge of applying such passport
