What should be done in case non receipt of cash from atm but amount gets debited for the bank account ?

- In this case you may lodge a complaints with the card issuing bank .You can call customer care number for that .This process is applicable even if the transaction was carried out at another banks ATM .
- You should be lodge a complaint with the issuing bank before 30 days of the date of transaction
- Note the ATM Location,Time of transaction ,Date of transaction ,transaction reference number .
- As per RBI instructions ,bank may re-crediting such wrong debited amounts within a maximum period of 12 working days from the date of receipt of the amount .
- Bank shall have to pay rs .100/- per day for delays beyond 7 working days from the date of receipt of the complaint.
- If the bank not credit compensation so you can lodge a complaint with the local banking ombudsmam if the bank does not respond.
