I received my passport on first week of January 2012 and Police verification happened on second week of June. I came to USA in June 2012 and now after almost 2 years i got this show cause notice from Regional Passport Office Bangalore, subject saying "Clarification Required Regarding issuance of passport facilities to ..............." and body says.... This is in reference to receipt of adverse police verification report... (THE APPLICANT NOT AVAILABLE FOR VERIFICATION).... you are therefore called upon to provide substantial explanation... blah blah.. and we should not impound/cancel your passport.
Since the police verification was done and now it's being 2 years, i replied to their email address "'rpo.bangalore@mea.gov.in'" and also faxed at 25706124 number but didn't get any reply.. Please suggest what should i do.. Right now i am in USA and will be back to India after 1 more year.
