I was not able to cancel that ticket when I tried before 11:30 AM due to maintenance activity. I tried to call on the helpline numbers but it was busy. So, I cancelled the ticket at 11:42 when the site becomes available.
Now due to this 50% cancellation charges are charged to me due to this maintenance while if I would have cancelled on time and only 25% would be deducted if irctc was working at that moment.
irctc was down on 31st Oct when I checked at 11:25 AM and due to which I was not able to cancel ticket on time.
I have already send multiple mails to irctc help line but no response from their side. They just reply me back with the cancellation policy which I am already aware of. irctc reference ticket no - 4291116 4346466 4311173 already raised for the same.
