TATA SKY is ripping off subscribers by selling us the ANNUAL MEGA HD PACK (Rs. 8400) + ANNUAL HD ACCESS FEE (Rs. 1200) and telling us we will receive all new channels automatically without having to pay extra.

Till now TATA SKY has introduced STAR WORLD PREMIER HD, HBO DEFINED and HBO HITS HD, and they are charging separately for all of them.

How can TATA SKY promise that "you will receive all new channels automatically without having to pay extra" and then start charging a-la-carte for new channels from ANNUAL MEGA HD PACK Subscribers.

ISN'T THIS ILLEGAL!!?

You can definitely take them to the consumer court! They are cheats!

They have misled consumers into buying annual mega pack with the assurance that "all" new HD channels will be provided with this pack - only to justify by launching what they call is a "premium HD" channel which as per their understanding in not covered under "all" HD channels...whatever that means...

If at all, they should have done it prospectively and not retrospectively - at least they would not have earned such a reputation - and "at best" they would have lost out on one year earnings from existing Mega HD pack consumers! Who was working on the strategy...think it's done more harm than good!

Didn't expect this from a TATA group company...! Sad...

Let it be known that even Tatasky CEO Mr. Harit Nagpal is not taking any action... Not thinking even to reply customers grievances (even when help from tatasky staff fails to provide PROPER service). He is having no caring attitude and even not thinking to better tatasky. He seems to lack the position. Jaisa Raja waisi Praja....

So do not expect tatasky as a service friendly company who may think of customers....
