NEFT Credited by mistake to wrong account of SBI.

I am an IDBI Bank customer. On 5th of December I was trying to make a fund transfer for Rs. 2000 to one of my friend RAKESH KUMAR holding account in HDFC Bank. I added him as a beneficiary in my IDBI Bank Net banking. Also a beneficiary of same name (RAKESH KUMAR), I had added in my account 1.5 years before on behalf of one of my friend, who holds account in SBI having a/c No. 11347494743 in SBI Khagaria Branch (IFSC : SBIN0002964). While choosing the beneficiary at the time of funds transfer, by mistake I have chosen Rakesh Kumar (SBI) in place of RAKESH KUMAR (HDFC). Now the funds has been debited from my account. How can I get my money recovered.

You should have called the customer care. I'd once got stopped such transfer from Kotak bank. But SBI is cheap quality bank I don't think they'll oblige you.

After transfer, it is upto your friend to return it. Legally he is obliged to return your money.
