My Current a/c with Bank of India was active and well maintained since 2005. In January 2013 it was abruptly closed without any reason what so ever. Bank did not even care to give a simple intimation either in writing or through a call. I was shocked to know that my a/c had been closed when I visited the Pimpri branch to collect last months statement. My loan payments are linked to this a/c and i will have to bear the cost of bounced ECs as well as charges for changing the loan repayment a/c with finance companies. I want an explanation from the responsible officials and reimbursements of charges incurred

I guess it could be due to some documentation issues. If your cheques get bounced, after 1-2 months get your credit report checked here: http://www.cibil.com/credit-score . If affected, then request for correction through Bank of India.
